UPDATE (January 27th 2016): while the original Mighty Ducks design (below) was a hit with some folks, loyal fans of the show have asked that I create something more in the colors and theme of Darkwing Duck, and I hope I delivered here.
I decided to make a retro 40’s version of the character, and for a bit of humor he’s about to get hit by his own grappling gun. The back patch was supposed to echo the 60’s Batman logo but that’s been done to death so I just have an action pose for Darkwing. Read the rest of this entry
A pair of new He-Man designs for your eyeballs today! Thought I’d do something different and base the characters on their toys rather than the animation models, and I think it looks rather striking (at least for Skeletor).
The team names, Overlords of Destruction and Defenders of Grayskull, are placeholder for the MOTU logo, which I removed because gradient logos look bad on sports designs in general. As part of my ongoing quest to sully every NHL team’s branding, I went and geekified the Florida Panthers with Hulk-Cringer.
Been sitting on this one for a few years, unfortunately it didn’t move forward as an official item. Also it won’t be offered by Geeky Jerseys either. However if a rec league team wants to run with it, I can donate the design in exchange for a team pic.
I will be doing a few more MOTU designs soon, that’s a property I’ve neglected far too long.
Here is an update for the Space Rangers, which was offered a few years back. The original was great, but I wanted a cleaner and classier look for the 2.0 design. The nametag on the front was also dropped to make things easier production-wise for my bros at Geeky Jerseys.
Here is a mockup:
If you’re interested in one, please sign-up for it here.
I love the NHL and Transformers, so I’m pleased to mashup both here. There are so many teams in Transformers (like the Constructicons and Aerialbots), it makes for a good overall fit.
Detroit fans, I apologize in advance, but the Junkions are what kickstarted this whole thing. Plus they’re the only Transformer with a very distinct wheel.
UPDATE (August 8th 2015): Several teams have been updated, while a few (DAL, WASH, PIT, PHI) have been given new identities. I will probably keep updating these every once in awhile.
Here are some of the old ones and a few unused ones too,
