Watchmen Hockey Jerseys

A long time ago I posted a design for a Watchmen hockey jersey, and a Chicago beer league team asked to use it. They just started play in their new duds and they look great!

They added some great new details, like an inverse nameplate, Pyramid Int’l logos, and a wraparound slogan (“The End Is Nigh”). I’m geeking-out over these details.

Brooklyn Bisons

Next up is a design I was asked to make for a kids rec-league team based in Brooklyn. The Bisons recently started their season as well. They’ll also get a few other jersey designs in the not-too-distant future, I look forward to sharing those here.

Mad Max Hockey Jerseys

You might recall that a few months ago I posted some designs commissioned by a diehard Mad Max fan, and the jerseys just got back from the assembly line and they look awesome. I’m partial to the white one.

Every once in a while I’ll be sharing some designs that teams have asked me to make for them. Recently I completed a design for a team called the Battle Hamsters, can’t wait to share that here!

I’m thinking of putting together a new photo gallery section on this site, so if you snapped a pic wearing one of my jersey designs (be it on the ice or at a comic-con), please email me the pic(s) and I will be more than happy to post it here or on my new Tumblr blog (yup, another blog).

The Royals jerseys are done! The Boston Bruins-inspired jerseys made for House Baratheon fans will be shipping out next week for those who ordered. Miss out? You can sign up here to be notified the next time it becomes available.

Awesome work again by Geeky Jerseys. You can see why they’re becoming such a popular hockey team outfitter these days.

This will compliment the recent Direwolves jerseys nicely. If you’re interested the Lannister jersey is currently available (Update: was a May offer, now closed), and Targaryen will be offered in the next few months. A Night’s Watch 2.0 jersey is also on the docket. Stannis Baratheon and Greyjoy fans I hear you, please bear with me.

If it were feasible I’d offer all houses at once, but Geeky Jerseys are super-busy these days, plus I think it’s better to space them out to avoid wallet fatigue.

The Spaceballs design is finally done, and they’ll be shipping out this week for those who ordered. Miss out? Sign up here if you want to be notified for an encore run. The more people who sign up, the greater the odds it will be offered again.

Great job by Geeky Jerseys again! Can’t wait to get my LONESTAR jersey.

You’ll have to forgive the plainness of the design. I posted it on Facebook for a laugh, and it got an incredible reception, so I left it as-is. Plus I feel the generic design is appropriate to the joke; it really does look like a throwaway piece of merchandise that would belong in Yogurt’s subterranean store.

Captain America 2.0 Hockey Jersey Design

The second Captain America-inspired design. I moved the shield to the left wrist, and a winged-A takes its places on the back.

Another amazing jersey completed by Rinkgear! I love it. It evokes the simplicity of the Detroit Red Wings, albeit with a much larger color palette. Just amazing work by the folks at Rinkgear.

Lots of patches and beautiful embroidery work on the main shield. UPDATE: Turns out, Rinkgear embroidered every patch on this jersey – all the Lion numbers and the ‘star’ logo. Wow.

Announcement: These will be available at C2E2 (April 13th-15th) at Voltron’s booth (#430). So swing by and say hello to the folks from WEP and check out the jerseys. Maybe you’ll see a few people wearing them on the show floor too.
