The order deadline for the current GoT-inspired jerseys is now July 6th. Shellhead will be available until July 31st. SOON, Tardis 2.0 and Browncoats 2.0 will be available (like, really soon). The Zelda 2.0 offer will wait it out a few more weeks – due to the Shellhead and Captain jerseys barging in out of nowhere. And lastly, Ghostbusters will return this August (promise). That’s the current slate, I’m aiming to do some new stuff this fall.
Find all the jerseys currently available for purchase at Rinkgear’s store here.
The available designs are now in MIND-BLOWING 3D so you can see what you’re missing out on. This blog is going Hollywood.
It does feel weird to be hawking hockey jerseys during the summer. But you don’t care how I feel. You’re probably just looking at the pictures, aren’t you? Aren’t YOU?!
As always if you and 9 buddies want to buy a custom group order of any design featured here at Dave’s Geeky Hockey please email me or Rinkgear and we’ll make it happen. For a price. Mwa-Ha-hahahaha! *Ahem*
Sorry this order is now closed. Jerseys go into full production today. Thanks to those who ordered, these will ship in early June. That embroidered front crest looks pretty sweet.
These bad boys are finito and will be shipped out on Monday. Looks like Rinkgear went off-spec by embroidering the back patch and adding some striping to the collar. Those evil guys. It’s hard to be upset with them for being late when they go the extra mile like this. OR are they always late because they go the extra mile?? Hmmmm
Great work by Rinkgear! The Direwolves jerseys are a modern classic, though I am heavily biased. That lace-up collar is sweet. Thanks to the good folks at Rinkgear who work hard putting these together.
Speaking of Rinkgear, I just got my Browncoats jersey today and I am pleased to report that they are indeed BROWN! They looked reddish in the pictures, our bad. A beautiful work of art – the main crest is amazing.
These will ship out later this week. I will post a preview of the Direwolves 3.0 jerseys when it is completed in the next few days. Both were from this order.
Excellent work by Rinkgear! I can’t wait to see this one in person.
Here is a second sneak peek at the Voltron 2.0 jerseys. As you can see, it features an embroidered crest, twill letters and numbers, and several patches. This one is the first to roll off the assembly line, the rest will be completed this week. They will ship sometime next week.
Looks beautiful, doesn’t it? I love the simplicity – matches my simpleton tastes.
Rinkgear has sent me a few pics of the crests for the currently-in-production Direwolves 3.0 and Voltron 2.0 jerseys. Not only do they look amazing, but this is further proof that this isn’t some fly-by-night operation. Though I still have a suitcase packed in case there is a revolt.
The Direwolves is a new non-infringing logo that is 100% embroidered this time (2.0 was a mix of embroidery and twill), while Voltron gets the embroidered treatment this time, as 1.0 was entirely sublimated.
I am quite impressed with the Voltron one, as I forgot to specify shiny metallic for the grey colors, but Rinkgear has my back. Right now the crest is reflecting light, which is why the blue looks so aqua. Makes for a nice safety feature if you are out at night.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Browncoats and Targaryen Dragon crests.
For those asking, Game Of Thrones jerseys will be back in late April/early May. Voltron jerseys will no longer be available here.
