I just want to point out for the Reavers jersey that a, um, “hapless” colonist would be placed behind the tie-up laces.

Reavers is a full-on Oakland Raiders parody. Hordak is based on his current incarnation (toys/comics). Both are black, grey, red, and gruesome.
