NHL Concept: Calgary Flames

I know you can get a gazillion NHL concepts elsewhere, but I felt like doing a design for my favorite team, the Calgary Flames.
It’s not too off-the-wall, I just challenged myself to make a Flames jersey that: A.) ditched the black, B.) featured a red ‘C’ logo on a red home jersey, and C.) looked like an original six design.
I used the Night’s Watch template for the home red jersey (a jersey that looks amazing in person), and threw together a Calgary Alberta shield to replace the current flags. The wheat is supposed to look a little fiery.
There is a bit of history for the white away jersey too, as it is based on the sweater that infamous trainer Bearcat Murray used to wear. Darnit, couldn’t find a picture of him wearing it in Google image search. You’ll have to take my word for it!
I will do the odd NHL concept here just as a fun exercise. They may not be geeky, but I will try to add some geek flavor.
