I noticed that the Dukes jersey is using ‘GT’ instead of ‘Charger’. Was this due to potential copyright problems?
Jerseys look awesome by the way. Can’t wait to see how they come out. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these available for us fans.
Yes the reason for the change is the Charger logo is trademarked. The one I used actually dates back to the 60′s/70′s, but better safe than sorry. GT is generic but I’ve seen a few General Lees with that badge.
The General Lee was a Charger R/T, R/T might be trademarked too…
Add non-infringing R/T logo. A lot of companies use R/T in some form, but to be safe I made the ‘/’ a hockey stick.
The Dukes looks like the New Jersey Knights of the WHA. I’m seriously tempted.
Sorry Dave, I was going to get one of the Dukes jerseys, but the GT logo ruins it for me. GT was never used on Dodge Chargers, as KC D42 says, they used the R/T branding. Being a car guy, these kind of details make a big difference for me. If you changed it back to the Charger logo, I’d be into it.
I added an R/T logo that is not infringing, I won’t be adding ‘Charger’ because that is pushing it imho. I know ‘Charger’ is a general term, but the Charger word logo is a bit too distinct.
I misread the ‘R/T’ as ‘GT’ on several images I saw.
I hope there are more Harry Potter hockey jerseys to come for other houses. WANT.
